The management team at BABE Microfinance Limited is led by the founder, Mr. Benbela John Makengo (in picture).

Benbela is the Chief Executive Officer who is a career Microfinance Expert with over 15 years of experience in the micro-finance industry where he has worked in various managerial positions in various departments and companies in Tanzania. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration – Cooperate Management, a post graduate Degree in Financial Management from IFM University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He is the Founder and CEO of BABE Microfinance Company Ltd, leading a management team made up of professionals with hands-on experience in the areas of finance, banking, accounting, economics, development studies, strategic marketing, ICT, human resources management, risk management, customer services, etc.

He is responsible for the day to day operations of the company, passionate about what he does, forceful, focused and goal oriented. He is excellent in Team building and supervisory roles.
